September Beauty Haul

Recently I went up to London on a day trip with bae and whilst exploring I picked up a few things from Boots and H&M.

The H&M beauty range is pretty impressive. It is inexpensive, very 'instagramable' and from what I have sampled so far, boasts some lovely beauty products.
The highlight for me has to be the overwhelming number of nail polishes to choose from. It is great to have so many shades of one colour, perfect for finding the right one to match any outfit.
I definitely think H&M could give the Topshop range some serious competition.

Also whilst in London I picked up a new foundation. I am yet to try Rimmel Wake Me Up, however I hope it will give me the dewy finish I am after to brighten up my skin as the months get colder and my skin gets dryer.
To help re hydrate my skin I also picked up a new daily moisturizer from Origins.
Origins is my go to brand for skincare currently and it has yet to disappoint. It has really helped to plump my tired skin and of course, as all Origin products do, it smells incredible. Although, reasonably pricey, a little goes a very long way.

Please let me know if you have questions on the products I have bought during my trip.
There will be some more posts to come so watch this space closely!

Skincare Routine

Recently I have come to realise that if you are to invest in anything it is skincare. It was time to get silky smooth, soft to the stroke skin. It doesn't always involve spending lots of money. My favorite cleanser at the moment is the Bodyshop Vitamin E Cream Cleanser. It is non oily, lightweight and smells fresh and clean and before bed i smooth on the Vitamin E nourishing night cream.
For days when my skin is thirsty for some goodness (normally the morning after the night before) I leave on the Origins Drink Up Intensive Mask.
This summer I was tired of being the pale kid and so was in the market for a light face self tanner. The Clarins Radiance Plus is so easy to apply and leaves my face lightly tanned and glowing. Its so simple. All I have to do is squeeze two drops into my hand, mixing it in with my moisturizer. Then I massage it into my face and neck and WHAZAM. I have been complimented after using this product on my unusually golden complexion.
Feeling very bootilicious.

Everyday Makeup

Clockwise from top:

My everyday makeup is simple and i like to think pretty inexpensive and achievable to apply in under 5 minutes. I doubt anyone wants to spend too much time each morning, especially me, when I have to be out of the house at 6:50.
My morning routine includes Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch concealer in Ivory which is lightweight on the skin. This is perfect to use under L'oreal Paris Infallible foundation Natural Rose. I was drawn into purchasing it after watching Hello-October and ICovetthee rave about it. I love the finish it gives, its like my very own real life airbrushing. Great matte coverage and smooths all imperfections without drying the skin.
The next step in my everyday makeup is the Real Technique Retractable Bronzing Brush which works perfectly with Nars Laguna to achieve a bronzed, non-orange look.
After that I fill in my eyebrows, curl my lashes and whiz on a bit of mascara.
The final touch is lavishly applying my L'oreal Colour Riche Lipstick. I LOVE this lipstick, by far topping all the Mac lipsticks i own. It deserves its very own dedicated blogpost, and that's what it shall have.
More to come soon. Enjoy the weekend. We are off to Wildlife Festival in Shoreham so this girl will be drankaan in the sun.

Au revoir.

Fuss Free Solution to Straight Hair

The Parlux 3000

Last week I purchased The Parlux 3000 hairdryer after going to the hairdressers; my hair resembling what can only be described as a lions mane and walking out again feeling like i had just filmed a TV advertisement for Herbal Essence.
My stylist used the Parlux 3000 and without using a brush tamed my thick hair to sexy sleek.
Although being a bit on the pricey side ( i paid £69 from Amazon) its great for people like me who really don't enjoy spending hours on their hair with different styling tools. Paired with Lee Stafford Argon Oil, It gives me quick, straightened natural looking hair without frizz.
I would for sure recommend this, especially if you are looking for a fuss free solution to straight hair.
